People use this as a shortcut walking to and from work. In the most recent case this week, a man knocked a woman unconscious and assaulted her. The other thing were watching is hurricane danny. Yesterday was a category 1. Now its strengthened to a category 2 meaning its packing wind speeds up to 105 miles an hour. Its moving slowly to the northnorthwest at 10 miles an hour. Its 930 miles east of the leeward islands. This will continue to track to the west as we head into the weekend but it wont be until monday that we start to see this weaken and head onshore to some islands there. By monday at 8 00 a. M. , youll notice this is going to weaken down to sustain wind spoodz around 65 miles an hour. It wont even be a hurricane anymore. It will continue to run into dryer air and push onshore and it will continue to weaken until tuesday, even wednesday. Then well just be dealing with a tropical depression, remnants by then. As we show you our futurecast if you plan to head down the shore today, expect temperatures to push into the 80s from ocean city even down to wildwood and avalon, all in the low 80s today. Youll notice we stay dry, just a few passing clouds overnight tonight. Well see a lot more sunshine even as we head into saturday. Again, our temperatures are going to warm back into the low 80s.
