Reporter federal investigators started investigating congressman chalkka fattah after they say he received what they are calling a Million Dollar loan that was unlawful to support his 2007 campaign for mayor and after losing the mayors race investigators say fattah paid back 400,000 and when the lender wanted the rest Authorities Say fattah stole grants to repay the loan. In another alleged scheme they say he hand delivered a note to president obama to secure a ambassadorship for a lobbyiest for vederman. Prosecutors say the couple took the money but never actually gave the car to vederman and used that money for Closing Costs on a poconos Vacation Home soon thereafter. The congressman says he has done nothing wrong and vows to stay in office and fight the charges. It happened before midnight on red lion road near san meyer lane in the bustleton section of the city. Police say the car is one of the worst they have seen. Reporter investigators here tell me its hard for them to stomach the damage. They say this is where the car initially hit the curb. You can see skid marks and debris here. As we move around the police car you can see the wreckage. Police say that they believe the car was going so fast it became airborne after hitting the curve and then slammed into this tree. The car literally sliced in half from the impact. Investigators believe the group inside was drag racing when they navigated a tight turn on san meyer road which is off red lion road and say it happened around midnight. This morning, three people inside that car are dead and one is in extremely critical condition. We have to be very careful when we are out here driving and being aware who youre getting in the car with and who the driver is that youre getting in the car with because you could have an incidence such as this that happens and families tonight will be very, very devastated at this loss of life. Reporter police say they are working to confirm the identities of the people involved and pass them on to us.
