It beguns at nan and lasts until tomorrow at 6 00 p. M. Tomorrow and in the evening. Thats a long stretch where people are going to need to stay inside, in an air conditioned area during the heat of the day. What is the city of philadelphia doing differently . Theyre downing a few things differently. The city often extends its hours at Public Libraries and rec centers, places that double as cooling centers. We could also see a code red. Thats when the office of special housing hands out water to the citys Homeless Population and the city of philadelphia aging corporation, will have a hot line. We are told they had to remove part of his leg. He was taken to aria torresdale hospital. We dont know what he was doing on the tracks. William and his team will meet with citizens in northern liberty. Their goal is to talk about safety kerns and look for ways to improve the neighborhood during the community walk. Police now say the driver was wanted in part for stealing underwear. Youre looking here at robert ritter. Police say he shoplived 20 worth of underwear from a shoprite in brookline, camden county. Ritter assaulted the Loss Prevention officer to get away with the underwear. Nbc 10 uncovered copies of the arrest warrant which details 20,000 in outstanding complaints. Monday nights twohour chase finally ended when police bumped ritters van from behind causing it to flip over. We took our video to a security expert to see what police did and did not do correctly during the case.
