We got new information on the investigation from nbc 10s jesse gary who is live at the headquarters of the Accident Investigation Division in north philadelphia. Jesse, whats happening. Reporter chris investigators just vehicle they were searching for is an suv. Thats the one that drove away from the scene and that it was recovered at north 9th and rising sun shortly after the accident. Theyll bring it over here and check the interior for dna fingerprint evidence. Hopefully that can lead them to who was behind the vehicle. The fatal crash happened around 10 30 last night. The impact from the crash did heavy damage to the drivers side of this dark blue fourdoor hasmazda mazda. The driver was killed the passenger seriously injured. Hes at Temple University hospital. A man faces charges for allegedly stabbing his wife and their 1yearold daughter. Police arrested Stephen Burton. Hes facing charges that include aggravated assault. A neighbor tells nbc 10 that she heard Danecia Burton screaming inside her home on dallas street and West Oak Lane early yesterday morning. The neighbor rushed over to see what was going on. She saw Stephen Burton attacking his wife. She let me in she was leaning against the wall with her arm sliced up and all i could do was find paper towel to stop the bleeding. She told me to go check our daughter because he stabbed her, too. When i went upstairs the baby was laying in all her blood. Horrible scene there. Danecia burton had several stab wounds and police say Stephen Burton stabbed their 1yearold daughter desiree in the stomach. Both are still in critical condition. Lock your car doors. Police set up flashing signs in parts of the town because, according to the Times Herald Police are investigating dozens of car breakins near the regatta circle apartments.
