The document stemmed from a 2005 case in which cosby was sued by a woman who claimed the comedian drugged and sexually assaulted her. In the full deposition obtained by New York Times cosby claimed he and his accuser, quote, were playing sex or playing petting. Cosby also suggested he understood nonverbal signals from when a woman consents. The deposition revealed details from other relationships including an exchange with a womans whose father died of cancer. Cosby admits using that information to get close to her.
