But two beauties in a row, today and tomorrow before we have some big changes over the weekend. A heat wave on the way plus some high humidity. Going to feel really uncomfortable and some weekend storms. Not a washout for either day but some storms. We have a lot of sunshine. 82 degrees, the wind is pretty light, the humidity is very low for this time of year and the temperature is pretty low despite all that sunshine. The average high is 87 degrees. So far, we have gotten up to 82 in philadelphia. We are way shy of average for this time of year. We are not shy of sunshine. Theres plenty of it in the east and more to come here. As we go through the night tonight, look how cool it gets. Into the 50s north and west. Then lets see how much we warm up as we go through the daycyu tomorrow. You can see we are into the mid 80s. Theres a sea breeze at the shore that will keep the temperature into the 70s but also calm down the ocean a little bit. The rip currents shouldnt be as bad tomorrow. Then tomorrow night, clouds start to increase, could get a couple of showers by saturday morning and you can see that southerly wind coming in. Now we are talking about some showers, maybe a couple of thunderstorms and eventually enough sunshine to push the temperatures close to 90 degrees. At least in parts of the area. Saturday is about the only question mark about getting to 90 over the few day period there. To escape the heat you can head to the shore on saturday with a good sea breeze and it may not get much above 80 degrees. Just a chance of a thunderstorm. It should be warmer on sunday and some places just inland could hit 90 degrees right at the beaches, thinking about 86 before a sea breeze comes in later in the day. On saturday showers and thunderstorms. Thats some relief from the heat in the city and then much warmer on sunday and probably no rain. We do expect the hot weather to build up over the next couple of days. Theres plenty of 90 degree stuff in the middle of the country and that is going to be headed our way. Then even next week once a front comes through and starts drying us out a little bit, it still looks like it will be relatively hot, close to 90 degrees. Little bit above average temperatures for just about all of next week. Clear and cool tonight at least for july. 65 for the low in philadelphia. 57 north and west. Maybe a couple spots in the mid 50s. Tomorrow mid 80s but it wont feel like that because the humidity will stay very low. No rain anywhere in the area during the day but there could be a couple showers friday night and a better chance of showers and storms into saturday. Certainly not a washout. 91 for the high, feeling like about 95. Much hotter on sunday. 96, may feel like 103. That could be the hottest day so far this summer and probably no storms on sunday. The storms do come in monday with a front and the humidity drops and the rain chances drop but it still stays near 90 for much of the rest of the week.
