Citizenship and Immigration Services will administer the oath of allegiance to americas newest citizens during a special naturalization ceremony on board the battleship new jersey. Investigators say the man called 911 from his car threatening to kill himself and police. Two officers found the vehicle unoccupied near the intersection of harrison avenue. They say the suspect approached them with a loaded gun. The officers fired their weapons stopping the man and killing him. Both of the officers have been placed on administrative duty pending the outcome of an investigation by the prosecutors office. Police are investigating a double shooting at erie and germantown avenues. Both victims were taken to temple hospital. One is stable. The other is critical. No word yet on a suspect or motive in this case. In west philadelphia, police are investigating the shootsing of a man who was found lying on the sidewalk outside a restaurant. Police say there were no bullet casings at the scene at 52nd street and gerard avenue. Its unclear if the victim was shot there or somewhere else. He was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the chest. No word on his condition. In Camden County a man is being held on 1 million bail for shooting a officer. Victor bennett was taken into custody last night. Police say bennett shot officer prince reed Late Wednesday night. Despite the injury he searched for the suspect before heading to the hospital. Federal Authorities Say the man accused in a shooting death of a woman at a San Francisco pier has been deported five times. A spokesperson for immigration and Customs Enforcement insist that Francisco Sanchez should have been turned over when he was released from jail in march. That never happened. However, lawyers for the San Francisco sheriff says the county does not hand over undocumented people just because immigration officials want them to. Sanchez was arrested on thursday about an hour after police say he shot the 32yearold victim. Today south Korean Health officials confirmed a new mers case bringing the countrys total to 185. There are currently 41 people undergoing treatment there. So far 33 people in south korea have died from the disease. Most of the cases have been traced to samsung medical center. Secret Service Agents have been talking about their plan to local businesses. The restrictions around the hotel is going to be a 13 foot barrier from the door to the street.
