The Great One scores again.
Wayne Gretzky sold the California mansion once owned by former New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies star Lenny Dykstra. In the process, the Hockey Hall of Famer turned quite the profit.
TMZ reports Gretzky listed his 13,000-square-foot Thousand Oaks, Calif. estate for a cool $23 million. According to TMZ, the selling price dropped to $17.6 million, but Gretzky still made $4 million on the deal.
Gretzky had the pad built in 2002 and sold it to Dykstra in 2007 for $18.5 million. And that’s where things get interesting.
