The AFL has explained why Gold Coast veteran Jarrod Harbrow was not suspended for his high hit on Carlton’s Michael Gibbons.
The bump last Saturday night collected the Blue in the jaw, sending him from the field for a concussion test.
Despite the AFL’s claims that the head is sacrosanct and the suspensions of the likes of Zac Williams and Patrick Dangerfield for the potential to cause serious injury already this year, Harbrow was allowed to walk free because he was apparently playing the ball.
