Water restoration being progressively done for Suva-Nausori corridor as repair works are completed

The Water Authority of Fiji confirms water restoration is being progressively done to areas still affected along the Suva to Nausori corridor.
Repair works on pipes that resulted in disruptions have been completed.
The disruption was caused by a major fault on the Waila to Wainibuku bulk water mains.
Chief Operating Officer, Seru Soderberg says their restoration team noted that fire hydrants in certain areas were opened this morning and this delayed restoration for other Fijians.
