Sunday was Mother's Day in the U.S., but Uzbekistan celebrated its annual Day of Remembrance and Honor, marking the former Soviet republic's contribution to the victory over fascism in World War II. In Sunday's commemorations, as the Russian news site that posted this video noted, "the military could not decide how to pay tribute to the country's anthem â to salute or put a hand to the heart. It looked comical."
