A group of neighbours ensured a Paisley street was given a Christmas boost this year.
They lifted the spirits of the entire neighbourhood in Roffey Park Road with a Christmas light switch on organised last night.
The cheerful event saw mulled wine, mince pies and sweets for the children - and even saw Santa Claus stroll down the road.
It was ticketed £5 per person with all the funds raised going towards the Renfrewshire Foodbank.
However, coronavirus restrictions and social distancing rules were followed.
During lockdown, a group of neighbours, Karen, Helen, Pogie and Tracey, helped raise £3,500 for the Accord Hospice and The Prince's Trust through a street bingo in March.
