Replay: Mayor Duggan update on Detroit COVID-19 response
Mayor Mike Duggan provided an update to the City of Detroit's response to the COVID-19 pandemic at 1:15 p.m. Monday.
Duggan announced new locations throughout the city where residents will be able to go for walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations.
Previously, residents were required to call 313-230-0505 to schedule at any City of Detroit location. With the new walk-in option, residents no longer have to wait for an appointment time.
Duggan also launched the Motor City MakeOver initiative and was joined by MakeOver Chair Kya Robertson; Motor City Grounds Crew Director of Programs Joshua Arnston and Travis Peters from Green Thumbz to kick off the annual citywide volunteer cleanup and beautification effort.
