ACTION has been taken at a 'dangerous' junction after a fourth crash earlier this week and pressure grew for changes.
Worcestershire County Council has taken the Copcut junction back to one lane both sides, laying out cones to prevent use of two lanes to overtake.
The latest crash saw a man taken to hospital after hitting a wall and telegraph pole on the A38 Worcester Road, on the junction opposite the Copcut Elm pub.
That followed another crash between a car and a motorbike on January 16 when a motorcyclist and his passenger were seriously injured.
And a nearby neighbour to the junction said the crash on Monday had been the fourth since the junction opened last autumn.
