The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra will give the world premiere of a brand-new work,
Distans, by the composer Sally Beamish today (Friday, May 21) at 6pm BST (19.00 CET). The concert comes live from Stockholm’s Berwaldhallen, Swedish Radio's concert hall, as part of a programme of music from the Nordic area. The other works are the Prelude to Edvard Grieg’s
Peer Gynt, ‘At the Wedding’, Jean Sibelius’s
The Bard and Carl Nielsen’s First Symphony.
