WARRINGTON Market has become the UK's first tech-powered market hall.
The £11 million facility is using Yoello technology, a mobile ordering and payment platform, to allow customers to order food and drink safely, without staff contact, physical menus or queuing.
Paul Blaney, market operations manager at Warrington Market, explained: "When the market opened earlier this year, we knew we had to start looking into table ordering and to use some of the latest technology out there.
"I did some serious research into the different platforms and businesses that could help the market and Yoello came out on top.
"Being small, independent businesses, our traders are able to adapt very, very quickly and the Yoello platform has been able to help with their business resilience in these challenging times.
