WARREN — A Warren man accused of assaulting a week-old baby girl in August pleaded guilty Tuesday to reduced charges in the felony case.
Andrew J. Jacobs, 27, of 1951 Southern Blvd. NW, Apt. 16, appeared with his attorney Charles Mickens before Trumbull County Common Pleas Judge Andrew D. Logan. Jacobs pleaded guilty to two counts of endangering children, while prosecutors dismissed two counts of felonious assault.
Logan will sentence Jacobs after he undergoes a background investigation conducted by the court’s adult probation department. The judge told the defendant he could face an indefinite sentence of between two and 20 years.
