The Wareham High School class of 2021 will have to wait one more day to officially graduate.
Principal Scott Palladino announced that the graduation ceremony would be postponed due to a 55 percent chance of thunderstorms in Wareham on Friday, June 4, between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. He said that although he was reluctant to postpone, it was necessary “for safety’s sake.”
Graduation will be held Saturday, June 5 at 6:30 p.m. on Spillane Field. The academic awards and scholarship night for seniors will be held at the same time.
