Wareham Dept. of Natural Resources providing litterbug pest control

WAREHAM – Litterbugs beware. Wareham Dept. of Natural Resources officers are out and about applying pest control.
WDNR officers responded to two recent instances of careless littering by issuing citations, according to a post on the WDNR Facebook page.
On Wednesday, May 19, while driving down Cranberry Highway, a WDNR officer pulled a motor vehicle over after witnessing the driver throwing litter out of the driver’s side window. The officer was in a fully marked WDNR patrol vehicle behind the driver littering. The debris fell onto Cranberry Highway where it was blown into the side of the road.
