Walton to reward students total at least Tk 1 crore for laptop purchase
Bangladesh, May 31 -- Bangladeshi super brand Walton on Sunday announced Tk 1 crore worth scholarship for students.
The Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni, as the chief guest inaugurated the 'Walton Laptop Crore Taka Scholarship' project online Sunday at the Walton Corporate Office in the capital's Bashundhara.
State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Zakir Hossain was the special guest.
From June 1, students purchasing a Walton laptop, computer, tablet PC, desktop or all-in-one computer will have a guaranteed scholarship.
Under this project, the laptop department of Walton Digi-Tech Industries Limited will provide at least Tk 1 crore to the students in the next three months.
