DeFUNIAK SPRINGS — Two men are facing felony charges after a husband and wife were carjacked at gunpoint last week in Mossy Head with their 10-year-old child asleep in the back seat.
On Feb. 12, a man finished pumping gas in his truck at the Love's Travel Stop when a man put his arm between the door and shoved a black pistol in his side, according to a press release from the Walton County Sheriff's Office.
His wife in the passenger seat was startled by a second suspect beating on the door and opened it without knowing who it was.
Ladarious Frye, 18, and Quandrareck Jackson, 22, both armed, then threatened to kill the victims if they didn’t get out of the vehicle. The husband and wife then pleaded for the suspects to let them remove their sleeping daughter from the backseat, the release said.
