Wallingford PZC approves permit revision allowing car washing, detailing

WALLINGFORD â The Planning and Zoning Commission unanimously approved a permit revision Monday for a local auto dealership that allows for vehicle washing and detailing at an off-site storage area.
The PZC granted the existing permit in February for the property at 1254 S. Broad Street, the former ServPro location near the Meriden town line.
Executive Auto Group owner John Orsini had to appeal to the PZC because the property lies in the aquifer protection area for the town's public drinking water supply wells on Oak Street.
