Councillors are asking the Government to help fund respite breaks for residents affected by the stench from Walleys Quarry.
Newcastle Borough Council’s cabinet is also set to hold a special meeting later this month to consider evidence for progressing with legal action against the operators of the Silverdale landfill site.
