Walgreens names Rosalind Brewer as CEO

Business executive Rosalind Brewer has been named the new CEO of Walgreens Boots Alliance. The news was revealed in a press release issued on Tuesday by the company. Her appointment is effective on March 15, 2021, and the current CEO Stefano Pessina will transition to the role of Executive Chairman of the Board.
