“This isnotwhoweare,” leaders from across the political spectrum resolutely affirmed this week, when a mob — incited by President Donald Trump and his congressional enablers — crashed through the doors of the Capitol. It’s been called terrorism. Anarchy. An insurrection. But cooler heads agree it was “un-American” — an aberration — and, fundamentally, not who we are as a country.
