Check right now, police are searching for a killer in western new york. Three people were killed when someone opened fire outside of a boys and girls club in rochester. Four men in their 20s were hurt in the shooting but are expected to be okay. It happened after 11 00 last night after a basketball game at the boys and girls club. Police have not identified the victims who were killed. We have new information on the deadly blast at a shrine in thailand. Investigators say it is unlikely the bombing was carried out by international terrorists. 20 people were killed and 120 others hurt by the explosion. Three suspects have been identified. Authorities issued an arrest warrant for the prime suspect described as a foreign man. A violent attacker is on the run this morning after he threw an acid like substance on a womans face in queens. What makes it more frightening, police say it was a random attack. It happened as the victim was trying to get in her car on skillman avenue around 5 30 last night. Eyewitness News Reporter kala rama is live at the scene in sunnyside. Reporter in the last hour we got an update to her condition. She was transferred from a nearby hospital to cornell burn unit. She is being treated for the injuries to her face. This attack was just horrific. That woman was trying to get in her car around the corner from the 7 train in queens when a man carrying a coffee cup approached her, trying to talk to her. She ignored him and thats when he through that acid concoction in her face. He then ran away. She started screaming and police say someone called 911. This happened on stillman avenue around 5 30 yesterday afternoon. The woman, 56 years old, has burns to her face all from the acidlike liquid. She was rushed to the hospital where she was treated for those burns, now transferred to the Cornell Medical Center for the serious injuries. She is in Critical Condition now. I can tell you that detectives tell me this morning they are anna lids analyzing the substance. They say it was mixed with acid and something else. They are checking to see if any surveillance cameras picked up the guy because he is still out there. Later this morning they hope to interview the woman so she can give them a better description. Investigators say he met with a 17yearold prostitute at the plaza hotel in midtown where he asked for help in finding another underage girl. A florida woman said she spent several years recording her conversations with fogle after meeting him at a Charity Event more than a decade ago. She said he told her about having sex with minors. He had something compelling him inside that wanted to reveal what he was doing. Did he want to get caught . I dont know. He caused a lot of pain that will never go away. Prosecutors say fogle will plead guilty to child sex and child pornography charges, facing between 5 and 12 years in prison. He has to register as a sex offender. Fogles wife is filing for divorce. The fire broke out around 2 30 at the gulf station in williamsburg. Firefighters were forced to bat battle the battle the flames from the outside. Last nights thunderstorms related in a big flood and a busy street in desperate need of repairs. Those repairs are happening right now but drivers are asked to avoid this area. Reporter and, shirleen, now that the sun is up you can get a better view of the crews at work behind me after yesterdays heavy rains. Repairs are ongoing. Those rains not only flooded cars but literally flooded pieces of the roadway. Crews are trying to make progress getting into the morning commute. Mother nature left her mark on this part of jersey. Sections of route 22 are impassable. Those that tried to make it through had a rough time. Some were stranded and flooded out as route 22 became more of a lake than a highway. At one point both westbound lanes were closed altogether. The roadway took a beating during the storm. The heavy downpours washing away parts of the street leaving holes in the roadway. It forced crews to make emergency repairs overnight. On top of that, a retention wall collapsed from all the weight of the water crushing several cars but not causing injuries. The storm system basically sat over this area for about two hours, dumping about three inches of rain overall. One driver got caught in the crosshairs and at one point had to flee his car. Once the water got to the door level, i didnt think it would keep coming. I took my shoes off, jumped out of the car, went across the street to the gas station and took cover. I come back about 10 minutes later and i have a picture of my car, the water was on top of my car and moved about 40 feet. Traffic is flowing. Its down to one lane. Its slow going as these repairs continue. They have been out here overnight because of the severity of the damage the road went through yesterday. So, if you are coming to this area, take it slow. One eastbound lane is closed near byrd avenue. No timetable when that will reopen. Also a few minutes ago an officer approached us and wanted folks to know that the light, because of the storm, is overpass. There will be officers at the scene shortly to direct traffic. If you are going through this area, you may want to leave early. Its a mess because of the havoc wreaked by Mother Nature yesterday. Richard matt and david sweat broke out of the Clinton Correctional Facility june 6th. Matt was killed nearly three weeks later. Sweat was captured a few days later. Two prison workers are charged with helping the duo escape. New this morning, police are searching for a man that violently robbed a woman in the bronx. They say david lopez attacked the woman last saturday. He is accused of stabbing her multiple times with a knife before taking off with her cell phone. The 39yearold victim was taken to the hospital where she is expected to recover. The manager of the a group of topless women who posed with tourists in times square is behind bars. The arrest is one day after mayor de blasio promised to crack in times square. He was arrested on an active warrant for marijuana, not for his work. New york city law does allow women to be topless in most public places. Former president jimmy carter will speak publicly for the First Time Since revealing his cancer diagnosis. The Carter Center says he will hold a press conference at its offices in atlanta. Carter released a statement saying doctors detected the cancer during a surgery to remove a small mass in his liver. A train struck a car about an hour ago then drove on the tracks in emerson. None of the 110 passengers on the train was hurt. The condition of the person in that car is not known yet. Flames tore through a gas station near the b. Q. E. Early this morning. The fire broke out around 2 30 at the gulf station in williamsburg. Firefighters were forced to battle the flames from the outside as the garage began to collapse. The city is asking People Living nearby to keep windows closed because of the large amount of smoke. Crews in new jersey are trying to fix roads that Mother Nature almost washed away. Rob nelson is in Scotch Plains where the repair work continues. If you are watching this taking route 22 to work for reasons obvious, you may want to leave early. Repairs are ongoing after yesterdays heavy rain. Three inches fell in about two hours flooding parts of route 22, submerging cars and washing away parts of the roadway. That lead to emergency repairs overnight. One eastbound lane remains closed near byrd avenue. No timetable when that will reopen. Minor flooding inside homes and caused a nearby retention wall to collapse crushing several cars, not leading to injuries. No one was inside the cars. Crews are live at work. It happened on skillman avenue in sunnyside. Police say the suspect was holding a coffee cup when he tried to talk to the 56year old woman.
