WA Liberal Party on track for election defeat09/03/2021|3min
WA Labor candidate Lisa Munday is attempting to unseat WA Liberal Leader Zak Kirkup - who only holds his seat of Dawesville by 0.8 per cent, or fewer than 350 votes - in the state’s upcoming election.
Polling shows the WA Labor Party - led by popular Premier Mark McGowan - could be set for its biggest election victory ever and Mr Kirup has already conceded his party will not win.
Mr Kirkup has taken “full responsibility” for both the controversial and uncontroversial decisions of the Liberal Party’s election campaign.
