Accused hitman pleads guilty — again — to 2004 murder of Virginia Beach woman and her 7-year-old son

Richard Stoner, 47, pleaded guilty to killing Lois Schmidt, 29, and Jonathan Vetrano, 7, at their home in June 2004. Stoner told cold case detectives he was hired by Lois Schmidt's husband to kill her.
