Volunteers build winter shelters for feral cats | Pine and Lakes Echo Journal

Backus cat owner Andrea Lambrecht, an environmental biologist and former Brainerd Dispatch columnist, co-hosted a two-day build in Brainerd with volunteers Saturday, Oct. 23, and Sunday to make outdoor shelters for feral or semi-feral cats to stay warm during winter.
