Volkswagen has launched the Turbo editions for Polo and Vento in India; the Polo Turbo Comfortline variant gets a price tag of ₹6.99 lakh while Vento Turbo Comfortline edition costs ₹8.69 lakh. This means that Polo Turbo is only ₹3,000 costlier than the standard Polo Comforline. And for this extra price, the Polo gets a handful of cosmetic tweaks and TSI (turbocharged) engine with Comfortline variant which, as standard, gets MPI naturally aspirated unit. Volkswagen Vento Turbo Comfortline, on the other hand, is ₹1.48 lakh cheaper than its regular counterpart. With this, Volkswagen is hoping for more sales given that Polo and Vento are struggling in the market.
