<p><strong>Isa Katharina Gericke</strong> is a versatile soprano in concert, chamber music and opera. Her repertoire ranges from baroque to contemporary. With a particular fondness for Lieder and romances, she has made a name for herself with her self-written concert performances about historical singers. In the cabaret "Frauen sind keine Engel" with music from 1930s and 40s Berlin, she shows a completely different side. Isa is a sought-after soloist, presenter and communicator in various concepts built around classical music. Since its inception in 2001, she has been artistic director of the Gloger Festival in Kongsberg, and from the autumn of 2022, she will be a doctoral student in artistic research at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.</p>
<p><strong>Joachim Knoph </strong>is active as a pianist in Norway and abroad, with repeated tours to countries such as China and Russia. He has released several critically acclaimed albums, most recently the disc "Å her møter mangt: Songs by Johan Kvandal" together with Isa Katharina Gericke, which was recently nominated in three categories in the German "Opus Klassik". He has previously also released Kvandal's complete piano music on CD, to good reviews. The release has been streamed over a million times on Spotify. He is the recipient of prizes and scholarships such as the Yamaha Award and the Norwegian Artists' Grant.</p>
<p>Joachim is also increasingly active as a composer, particularly in the field of choral music, and his latest work "Hope - A new Ceremony of Carols" has attracted international attention. Joachim Knoph is a graduate of the Norwegian Academy of Music, Malmö Academy of Music, Ecole Normale de Musique "Alfred Cortot" in Paris, and studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.</p>
