To strengthen diplomatic relations between India and Philippines, leading contemporary artists from the two countries have come together for a virtual art exhibit.
Titled, “Kala-Likha”, the month-long show that opened on December 15 and conceived by online platforms Arth Art International (India) and ArtisteSpace Inc (Philippines), features works by 14 artists from each country bringing together trends from the Indian and Filipino art worlds.
“Arth Art International from India and ArtisteSpace Inc from Philippines, have come together for a one-of-a-kind intercultural art exchange to solidify the diplomatic relationship between the countries. It is called 'Kala-Likha', where ‘kala’ means art in Hindi and ‘likha’ in Tagalog means creation,” the organisers said in a statement.
