Virginia Senators join growing group urging VP Pence to invoke 25th Amendment
The move would remove President Trump from office for the remainder of his term, which is less than two weeks.

WASHINGTON — Virginia Senators Mark Warner and Tim Kaine have joined more than 30 lawmakers -- including Virginia Representatives Bobby Scott, Don McEachin and Gerry Connolly, along with House Armed Services Chairman Adan Smith and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer -- in calling for President Donald Trump's removal,  following Wednesday's deadly mob assault on the Capitol they say Trump incited.
Additionally, Representative David Cicilline of Rhode Island announced Thursday he has drafted new articles of impeachment against Trump.
