Virginia Governor's New Education Appointees Walking Into Controversy

Youngkin's appointee for the new Superintendent of Public Instruction is Tennessee’s former Chief Academic Officer, who led Tennessee’s revisions for English Language Arts, Lisa Coons. She is set to start on April 17 and will be asked to handle a series of controversies.
