Through an interpreter, he pleaded guilty to two charges of wounding a person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm. Each charge carried a maximum penalty of 14 years’ imprisonment.
The summary of facts, read out in court, said a housemate, a 32-year-old Samoan man, stood up from the dinner table and challenged Lamosi, telling him to stop swearing.
