View of the future for Wrexham as “Covid has been a game changer” for town centre
A more joined up plan for the future of Wrexham town centre could emerge as the reality of the post-pandemic world was debated by councillors.
At a meeting of the council’s employment, business and investment scrutiny committee yesterday morning councillors were presented with a series of potential projects and focal points to help the local economy recover post pandemic.
These included how to increase tourism, expanding the offer at the World Heritage Site to increase footfall and visitor spend, using Ty Pawb to create a cultural quarter, purchasing empty properties and moving forward with the Townscape Heritage Scheme
