Victorian government accused of 'unfair' land tax as couple slugged for granny flat housing elderly mother

For eight years, Linda Ryan's mother has lived in a granny flat at her home in Victoria's east, and, for the first time, she's been handed a $500 land tax bill, even though it is on her principal place of residence.
