Victoria's borders remain shut to Sydneysiders for New Yer's Eve

Victoria's border will remain closed to Sydney and the Central Coast over New Year's Eve and into 2021.
Health Minister Martin Foley today said no travellers from red zones would be allowed into Victoria for at least another week.
"Well, it's certainly not going to be this week and we'll continue to take the advice of public health officials as to when that will be the case," he said.
Victoria's health minister says there is "no chance" of borders opening up for New Year's Eve.(Nine)
"There is no chance of the borders reopening for New Year's Eve ... we want to make sure those borders, particularly to the red zones of Sydney and the Central Coast, stay shut down."
