Victoria records 26 new cases in Sydney outbreak new high

Victoria has recorded another huge jump in cases overnight, but there was some good news for residents.

Victoria has recorded 26 new local cases from 43,674 tests.
All of the cases have been linked to known outbreaks.
In better news for residents, only two of the infections were out in the community while infectious.
Health authorities are expected to provide an update on the cases later this morning.
Reported yesterday: 26 new local cases and 2 new cases acquired overseas (currently in HQ).
- 14,230 vaccine doses were administered
- 43,674 test results were received
VENUES OF CONCERN
There are concerns for shoppers who visited a popular market in Melbourne on Saturday as exposure sites and case numbers continue to grow in the city.
