In his obituary, Zaydin Dudra was recalled as "goofy, in the best possible way."
Shoot and Dudra were killed late Thursday evening on Illinois 48 near East 1550 North Road between Taylorville and Stonington.
Meanwhile, the Illinois Capitol Police investigator arrested in the case is out on bond.
Robert M. Hodson, 46, of Taylorville was charged with aggravated driving under the influence involving the deaths on Friday. Hodson posted 10% of his $200,000 bond Monday.
Under terms of the bond, Hodson is not allowed to consume alcohol or use cannabis or illegal drugs and is subject to random testing. Hodson is forbidden from operating a motor vehicle and not allowed into any bars.
