Hanxin Zheng, 36, died when a train struck his road marking truck on May 13.
Police have released the name of a man who died after his truck was hit by a train in Rangitīkei.
Hanxin Zheng, 36, of Palmerston North, died on May 13 when the truck he was using to paint stop marks at a railway crossing was struck by a train on Saunders Rd in Marton, shortly after 3.30pm.
“Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones," a police media spokesperson said.
Zheng worked for Road Marking Services on Rangitīkei St in Palmerston North.
