Gov’t launches National Plastic Action Partnership

VGP – Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung on December 23 attended the launching ceremony of the Viet Nam National Plastic Action Partnership (NPAP).

This is the partnership between the Government of Viet Nam and the Global Plastic Action Partnership (GPAP) to rally efforts in plastic pollution reduction and transition to circular economy.
Viet Nam discharges about 22 million tons of solid trash annually, including 10% plastic waste and the figure is on the rise.
