Almost a year to the day later, a second case of Legionnaires’ disease has been diagnosed at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy.
According to the Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs and the Illinois Department of Public Health, an investigation is under way after a resident tested positive for Legionella on Dec. 22 after testing positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 30.
