BAY CITY, MI - A local journalist who was dedicated to his family just as much as he was to his craft has died.
Eric English, who was MLive’s news leader for The Bay City Times and The Saginaw News, died of a heart attack on Saturday, Jan. 23, at McLaren Bay Region, his wife, Kathy, said.
“He loved journalism and he loved the practice of journalism, and that will be his legacy,” said John Hiner, vice president of content for MLive, who worked with English for nearly three decades.
