Vertigo star Kim Novak reveals her veterinarian husband of 44 years has died

A Hollywood starlet in the 1950s and 60s, Novak gave up the limelight to paint
She had starred in the Hitchcock classic Vertigo alongside Jimmy Stewart 
Novak met veterinarian Malloy in 1974 when he was caring for her horses 
He died on November 27 at their home in Eagle Point, Oregon
Film star Kim Novak, who left the limelight after rising to the high of fame in Hollywood, has shared her grief at the passing of her husband of 44 years.
Novak's husband Robert Malloy died on November 27 at the home they shared in Eagle Point, Oregon. He was 80.

'May I share just a bit of my grief with you?' she wrote in a Facebook post on Friday. 'My soulmate has passed on to greener pastures.'
