Vernon Parish School Board Gets Claims Update on Damages From Hurricanes

Treasure Manes from Hornbeck Elementary School was named Employee of the Month.
Meredith Campbell provided an insurance update for the Board: The insurance company is close to making a decision on the Hicks Gym. For athletic fields and local small repairs, the Board is welcome to use local companies. For other buildings, numbers are expected by March 15 – engineers are currently creating specification and drawings for all damaged schools. Ms. Campbell will be requesting a second check from the insurance company to cover the local contractors – it was suggested that all of the roof work be handled at the same time.
