vendors: Street vendors' plea: No eviction, give us IDs

“The BBMP with no awareness about the Street Vendors Act have evicted thousands of street vendors across the city. We demand the BBMP return the material seized from the street vendors at the time of eviction and allow the street vendors to return to the same spots to continue their business. We are contemplating to go on an indefinite agitation if the BBMP authorities fail to meet our demands,’’ said S Babu, president, Federation of Bengaluru District Street Vendors Associations.
