ELKINS — The Randolph County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a theft that occurred earlier this week at YouthBuild North Central.
The incident occurred between 4:15 p.m. Jan. 25 to 6:20 a.m. Jan. 26 at the organization’s building in Highland Park. During the incident a 2013 Ford Escape was stolen along with a long list of tools from the facility.
“Our office responded to YouthBuild on Tuesday for a breaking and entering call,” Randolph County Sheriff Rob Elbon said. “A vehicle and tools were stolen for the property somewhere between late Monday evening to early Tuesday morning. The vehicle has red/maroon county tags on it and the Ford oval on the back is worn and appears to be black from age. There are also some rust spots on the back of the trunk lid.”
