A vehicle crashed through the front of the Lane Agri-Park, 315 John Rice Blvd., Sunday around 8:40 p.m., according to the Murfreesboro Police Department.
Officers discovered the vehicle entered the front of the building and traveled out the opposite side, MPD spokesman Larry Flowers said.
The crash caused extensive damage to the building, home to Rutherford County Farmers Market held 7 a.m. to noon each Tuesday and Friday.
The market will not be impacted by the crash, Rutherford County Agricultural Extension Director Anthony Tuggle.
A preliminary investigation revealed the driver of the vehicle intentionally drove into the building in an attempt to take his own life, according to MPD.
