Vast Resources to revise mining plan at Romanian site after missing production targets

BUCHAREST (Romania), February 26 (SeeNews) - UK-based Vast Resources Vast Resources said on Friday that it intends to revise the mining plan for its Baita Plai polymetallic mine in Romania, after lower-than-expected copper concentrate output at the site.
The new mining plan envisages a more modern mechanised mining method, a move away from the traditional labour intensive mining methods within the existing plan, the targets for which were announced on September 7, Vast Resources said in a press release.
